Hutspot

 

Af en toe plaats ik op mijn blog een rubriek onder de naam 'hutspot'. In die rubriek verwijs ik naar allerlei interessante en niet-interessante, leuke en niet-leuke, christelijke en niet-christelijke, Nederlandse en niet-Nederlandse berichten die ik op internet ben tegengekomen, kortom een hutspot van berichten. Wanneer je op de vetgedrukte tekst klikt, verschijnt de site waar het betreffende bericht uitgebreider beschreven staat.

 

De Sterfbed Spijt Top Vijf - Soms kom je op onverwachte plekken op het web pareltjes tegen. Van de week belandde ik in een wat neogotische bui op de website van ene Bronnie Ware, een vrouw die jarenlang mensen op hun sterfbed begeleidde. Ik verwachtte het gebruikelijke gezweef, maar Bronnie bleek prettig aards. Ze vertelt op haar blog hoe ze ontdekte dat mensen ook in de manier waarop ze doodgaan best op elkaar lijken. Terugkijkend op hun leven kwamen haar patiënten met telkens weer dezelfde zaken waar ze spijt van hadden. Bronnie turfde en maakte een top vijf. Een enorme cliché top vijf, maar dat maakt hem niet minder waar. Er staan ook tips bij, voor het geval het niet al meer dan duidelijk was. Lees en doe er je voordeel mee.

 

'Wat zag mijn vader in mij?' - Zij wil anoniem blijven. De vrouw van begin dertig groeide op in de Gereformeerde Gemeente in een klein dorpje in Zuid-Holland. Haar vader heeft haar en haar broers jarenlang misbruikt en is daarvoor ook veroordeeld. Bij haar kerk kon ze niet terecht.
